Here is the second update on Elder Benjamin Corbett's mission to Argentina. So far we have received 3 letters and a few e-mail messages from him and the main message he has reported to us is that he is enjoying his experience there at the training center and that he is extremely busy. His day begins at 6:30am and from that moment he is on the go with his Spanish and gospel classes, special inspirational meetings, eating, exercise, etc. right up until 10:30pm when, according to what he told us, he falls asleep soon after his head hits the pillow. He has also let us know that he has 2 great companions, one of them being an Elder Wilkins, whose grandfather was the training center's president 41 years ago when Benjamin's father was there as a missionary. He also told us that he met two missionaries that are headed for the Lubbock Texas Mission. We have also learned that he will be leaving for Argentina on April 27th. Because of his language skills, the second week he was there he was given the choice of switching to another group of missionaries that would only be staying 3 weeks. After some serious thought and prayer, Benjamin decided that he should remain with his current companions and spend the full 9 weeks there in order to improve his Spanish and increase his knowledge and testimony of the gospel.
